At Lab Circuits, we continue to invest in innovation and continuous improvement with a new ON–V-BOND surface treatment line, designed to improve interlayer adhesion and process stability in high-tech PCB manufacturing.
The new line uses the MEC V-BOND chemical process, which creates a surface with an anchoring effect and a highly adhesive organic layer, promoting a stronger bond between materials while reducing micro-etch depth. This results in greater process stability and more consistent and repeatable results.
The installation features a fully automatic dosing system based on continuous monitoring of the copper concentration in the bath, as well as a centralized digital monitoring system that tracks all critical process parameters in real time. In addition, it incorporates a configurable spray system to accommodate different panel types and a transport system designed to safely process even the thinnest cores available on the market.
With this new investment, Lab Circuits continues to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities to deliver high-reliability PCBs for applications where precision, quality and repeatability are essential, including the defense, aerospace, medical electronics, telecommunications and industrial sectors.
The addition of the SCHMID Infinity Line ON–V-BOND line marks another step forward in our strategy of investing in advanced manufacturing technologies.
