New Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) acquisition.
In the production of printed circuit boards the Laser Direct Imaging (LDI), produces a more exact register than the traditional artwork , allows to expose on dry film tracks/spaces of 50 µm and reduces the setup time .
In LDI, a laser is used to directly insolate the image on the dry film that covers the panel, eliminating the production and use of the traditional phototool. A system CAM is used to modulate the laser beams, that crosses all the panel to form the image line by line, comparable in the way in which an image in a CRT screen is displayed.
